Game was over 8 minutes into the match as defenders Wallace and Goldthwaite let Cummings get free in the corner which resulted in Colorado's first goal. Colorado's second goal was scored by Cummings as keeper Brown could not hold on to Cummings first attempt but found the net with his second attempt. Less then a minute Colorado's midfielder struck a beauty passed Brown. This all happened in the first half of play. The second half Colorado let up and the Timbers could only get back one off a Cooper free kick that went under the wall into the bottom left corner of the colorado goal.
Wallace once again had a poor game and makes one wonder do the Timbers need to find someone better in that position. Goldthwaite was not much better in the Center D. Now we know why Perkin's is our starting keeper as Brown has problems holding on to the ball which is nothing new. So maybe the Timbers need to find a better back up keeper as well.
